VersaFlex Incorporated is proud to announce that we celebrated our 20 year anniversary in 2014 as the leading supplier of polyurea protective coatings, linings and technology.
VersaFlex’s product design team includes Dudley J. Primeaux II, PCS, CCI the world’s original developer of polyurea spray technology. Between Mr. Primeaux and the rest of the VersaFlex R&D team, they are the inventors on over 30 patents covering polyurea technology and processes. They continue to develop many new and exciting products and polyurea applications.

VersaFlex is not only the leading developer of polyurea technology, but in addition, this expertise is leveraged into the production plant. VersaFlex Incorporated has been an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer since January 2009. VersaFlex was actually the first company in the United States to receive ISO certification under the newer 2008 standard. In 2013, the VersaFlex Product Development and Testing Lab achieved ISO 9001:2008 “Design Certification,” making VersaFlex the only polyurea supplier with both ISO manufacturing and design quality management systems.
In 1993 four individuals were brought together in an effort to improve the efficiencies of rehabbing slab joints in flat concrete flooring installations of large commercial buildings. At the time conventional products required many hours of cure time to accommodate traffic. A new chemical technology was just entering the markets in the form of thermoset polymers known as “polyurea”. There were only a handful of formulated products based on this technology and the systems were so new that market recognition was virtually non-existent. Formulators were just beginning to recognize the advantages of including polyurea chemical components in such products and none were attempting to produce systems based entirely on the new technology.
The four individuals began to experiment with different components and after a short period developed an ideal system for use as a joint filler. This system allowed an immediate benefit as a result of the very fast curing properties; accelerating the rehab process by a factor of at least three. After only a year or so it was evident that systems based on the polyurea technology could effectively replace many older technologies and in the process provide significant improvements in not only speed of application but also increased durability and cured properties.
These discoveries led to the formation of VersaFlex.
Over the ensuing 21 years the four individuals have grown into over 40 and VersaFlex has become a recognized leader in producing a wide range of elastomeric adhesives and coatings based on the polyurea technology.
From the outset it was the intention of the founders that the company operations would be governed by strict adherence to the highest standards of business ethics and responsibility. A code of discipline was adopted along with a broad mission statement designed to guide the company growth and reputation into the future. Honesty, integrity and generosity continue to be the guiding principles of VersaFlex and it is our hope that by exhibiting such qualities we can bring goodwill to each and every person having contact with us.
The guiding principles of the company are buttressed through adoption of a statement of Vision and Purpose which demands accountability of each employee in the company.
Vision and Purpose
All company associates should be committed to doing what is right and honorable. High standards should be set for ourselves and a devoted aspiration to meeting those standards in all our activities should be the goal. Through objective efforts to define our goals and determine adherence to the objectives, we hope to provide beneficial guidance both within as well as outside our company.

“Fairness” is our duty to make decisions and act impartially and objectively. Our conduct must be free from competing self-interest, prejudice, and favoritism. If our product offerings cannot resolve a problem we attempt to give the best information we are able to provide to resolve the inquirer’s problem.
“Honesty” is our duty to understand the truth and act in a truthful manner both in our communications and in our conduct.
