Contractor Training Returns!
Online classes begin March 1, 2021.
That’s right, The VersaFlex Companies’ Approved Applicator training is returning on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we’ve had to rethink and retool this industry-leading program. As always, the process will include both a classroom portion and an in-person, hands on portion. But we’ve separated these two elements to make it easier for our partners to complete.
Our classroom sessions will now be 100% virtual and hosted by our very own Benjy Abbott. We’ll begin with live instruction via videoconference on Monday mornings. For folks who want to watch the instruction at a different time (or simply want to watch it again), we’ll have the recording of the live session available for viewing on the following Tuesday morning, to view at your convenience.
The first live session will be held on Monday, March 1 at 10:00 AM Eastern time.
At 10:00 AM every Monday for eight weeks we’ll deliver a new, three-hour session (broken into two 1.5-hour chunks). You can see the list of classes and topics below.
On the last Thursday of each month, we’ll host two live online discussion sessions so you can ask questions of our instructors, product experts, and tech services personnel. To accommodate multiple time zones, one discussion session will be scheduled at 5:00 PM Eastern and the other will be 5:00 PM Mountain. Both are scheduled to run for one hour.
Throughout the 8-week program, you will be tested on your understanding of the information that has been presented. These knowledge checks will be tied to specific topics (like “Transfer Pumps”) and will only become available after that topic has been completed. Each quiz will let you know how many questions you must answer correctly to pass. You must pass all the quizzes to complete the course.
In the latter half of this year, as COVID-19 protocols allow, we will begin hosting in-person, hands-on training. You MUST complete the classroom training program to be eligible for the hands-on class.
Completing both the virtual and hands-on training sessions, will earn you a certificate stating that you are an Approved VersaFlex Companies Applicator for Polyurea and Spray Foam.
