VF502 applied to a tank pad in standard tan.

VF502 is a multi-purpose product that can handle a lot of different roles. Most often it is used as a tough protective coating in a variety of industrial settings. However, it can also be used for secondary containment, pre-sprayed geo fabric, encapsulation of spray foam and asbestos, a protective coating on OEM parts, and so much more. It can be seen here being used as a coating for tank pads.

VF502 is a fast-set, rapid curing, flexible, two-component, hybrid polyurethane/polyurea elastomer spray coating material. The product is designed for use in high-pressure spray equipment.

This product displays 55 Shore D hardness and has fast “front end” cure speeds and geo fabric applications can immediately be rolled and readied for shipment. In addition, VF502 offers a three hour overcoat window for use in the field.

VF502 has a 2-3 second gel time and a 3-4 second tack free time, which drastically simplifies field applications. This quick turn-around time also allows pre-sprayed liners to be rolled and ready for shipment almost as soon as they are sprayed.
